Looking for a Project Manager for the Product Control IT department. This position will support the project management needs within the Product Control Continuous Improvement program.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:
• Manage PC IT projects on a day-to-day basis and take responsibility of the overall project progress
• Produce all required project support documentation including delivery reports
• Maintain global project governance based on existing Investment Banking project management standards
• Provide regular status reporting to all interested parties including; senior management, steering groups, stakeholders and PMO
• Capture, track & escalate project level risks & issues to the Core Team and other senior management
• Establish and run the project governance
• Ensure stakeholders are all in sync on the project scope, what benefits will be realized when and project timelines
• Create a structured process around several ad hoc type requests.
• Ensure projects have the correct level of financial tracking to enable project expenditure to be reported
Qualifications:
Minimum 7 yrs PM/BA experience
„X Experience in investment banking and accounting is desirable
„X Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are a must
„X Strong understanding of project lifecycles: Initiation, definition, design, construction, validation

Description:
- Excellent Program/Project Management skills.
- Experience in not only managing a Program but driving it from iniception to completionn is a MUST.
Ability to deal with short timelines and a challenging client.
Experience in the HR space a plus.
This individual will be involved in managing the day to day activities of the Program.
Responsible for Program status reporting and compilation of individual Project status.
- Coordinate all activities around the implementation and delivery of the Program including scheduling of resources, providing regular status updates, addressing challenges that arise, and successfully deliver on time and on budget.
Responsible for Program Governance that includes defining roles and responsibilities. Creates both the structure and practices to guide the program and provide leadership, oversight, and control. Ensures governance is effectively providing the decision making support for the program.
Responsible for setting up the Program Infrastructure (program office, technology, and other factors in the work environment supporting the program effort)
Responsible for Planning and administering the overall program with support from the PMO and project managers
- Responsible to ensure the program is delivered within the agreed upon schedule, budget, and quality constraints coordinated between all the different program components
Acts as the communications conduit to Program owner, Executive sponsors and program steering committee and conducts periodic briefings/status updates
Escalates Issues and decisions to Program Owner and Executive Sponsors as necessary
Supports Project Managers with Issue Resolution and Risk Mitigation. Escalates through the proper channel for managing and mitigating issues/risk
Responsible for aligning all work streams on the program with a single integrated timeline/plan with program level progress metrics and milestones

Looking for a Technical Project Lead for a long term Right-To-Hire position in the Princeton NJ area.
Must have management experience and experience with MS Project and office tools. Must have mainframe experience. Strong communication and people skills are a must.
IDMS and DB2 experience is a big plus. Should have a strong mainframe background. Any experience with cost estimating and scheduling for project work a big plus.
